How should I care for my knife?Pedret knives are robust, high-performance tools built for serious kitchen use—but like any tool, they deserve a bit of care. Hand-wash only and store safely—ideally in a butcher block or on a magnetic strip—to protect the edge and maintain sharpness. Fortunately, a well-made knife doesn’t ask for much—just a little respect, and it will serve you for a lifetime.

What materials do you use?Only the finest materials are used—premium high quality stainless steels for blades, and exotic hardwoods, stabilized woods, or high-quality composites for handles. Every component is carefully selected for its durability, aesthetic appeal, and performance—and all materials are food-safe.

Do you offer sharpening or maintenance services?Yes. Pedret Knives are built to hold a long-lasting edge, but even the finest blades benefit from occasional care. Sharpening is free—you just cover the shipping. Ben actually loves seeing his knives after they’ve spent some time in the wild; it’s like a reunion with an old friend that’s done some serious chopping. Feel free to reach out any time for edge restoration, maintenance, or care advice.

Do you offer presentation cases or knife rolls?Yes—both are available as optional add-ons. Presentation cases are perfect for display or gifting, while our handmade knife rolls are ideal for safe transport and everyday storage. Each is designed to complement the craftsmanship of your knife and protect it with the care it deserves.

Can I request a custom knife design?Yes. Custom commissions are welcomed. Whether it’s a specific steel, handle material, blade shape, or personal engraving, Ben works closely with clients to bring their vision to life.

Do you offer international shipping?Yes. Knives can be shipped internationally where local regulations permit. All shipments are tracked and insured.

Can I visit your workshop or see knives in person?Visits are by appointment only. Occasionally, select pieces are displayed at shows or galleries. Join the mailing list to stay informed about upcoming events and releases.

How long does it take to complete a knife?Timing depends on the complexity of the build and the current backlog, but most custom knives are completed within 6–10 weeks. Quality takes time, and each knife is crafted with care—not rushed off an assembly line. You'll receive updates along the way so you’re never left guessing.

Do your knives come with a warranty?Yes. Every Pedret knife is backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal kitchen use. While this doesn’t cover misuse, neglect, or damage from improper care, Ben stands behind his work and will do his best to repair or restore a damaged knife whenever possible.FAQs can be added to any page on your site or to your Wix mobile app, giving access to members on the go.

How do I add a new question & answer?To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
